Where to apply the lotion depends on the use. For acne, rosacea or dry skin, apply to the entire affected area. For sun damaged skin, apply to all areas that have been or are exposed to the sun from head to toe. Apply twice a day in the morning and in the evening for a minimum of 3 months then may decrease to once daily use. Wait 5 minutes to allow for absorption before applying sunscreen.
For best results, apply Kahu Care Forté twice daily after showering or bathing. Consistent use for at least three months is recommended to help improve hydration, skin texture, and the appearance of sun-damaged skin.
If you have extremely sensitive skin, eczema, rosacea, or acne-prone skin, consider using Kahu Care Sensitive lotion as it is specifically developed for those concerns. Consider applying to a test patch of skin first to determine response.
Niacinamide can cause tingling or flushing when first applied to skin. It is transient and often stops within a few applications.
